As California works to institutionalize California Jobs First (CJF), the long-term statewide structure is still taking shape, and there is currently no additional legislation or funding extending CJF beyond September 2026. GO-Biz has asked all regions to prepare governance transitions to ensure stability during this shift. A successor structure is needed to guide implementation, sustain momentum, and keep LA County aligned with the state. The new ISAC structure directly reflects that collective guidance and positions the region for long-term coordination and investment.

The Color Congress is a national collective of majority people of color (POC) and POC-led organizations aimed at centering and strengthening nonfiction storytelling by, for and about people of color across the United States and territories. We do this by supporting, resourcing, and connecting these organizations and building their collective power so they can be a more powerful force for change.
